“Emotions Shown” is a collection of essays about emotions within a scientific context and understanding. The letter serves as a metaphor for the presentation and dramaturgy of the books’ content, while a fictional letter-correspondence between the editors serves as its introduction. Designed “without emotions”, the content gains in vitality, though tracing paper inlays — protruding two millimeters above the book head — add a subtle touch of “feeling(s)”.
